DRUID: Now this is what I call love!

This just in: the druid flying form is a confirmed 60% speed increase. Which makes it equivalent to a level 70 non-epic flying mount.

Which means I just saved 900g.

Oh God, now I have to level professions again.

Though I may want to hold off on the mad money spending...because when you think about it, this bit of information almost makes the cost of the epic reasonable. It's 900g less already because you don't have to buy the epic mount, and if you add the 893 you save from your non-epic mount, that's 1800g saved in total. When I look at it that way, it seems a lot less ridiculous to have an epic flying mount.

Also, anything is better than a hideous armored gryphon.

Actually, that's not quite right. You still have to train for the epic ground mount skill before you can learn your flight form. Luckily, they dropped the cost recently to about 540g if you're honored with the faction you buy it from, so it's still a good buy. You don't actually have to buy a mount at that point (Although, at just 90g it's a pretty good idea), but you do need to train for it, because Blizz isn't going to give you 2 riding skill increases for free. Still worth it, though. And yay for the epic flight form, the gryphons are indeed incredibly dull.

Also, welcome back ^^

...I already have my epic ground mount. So this calculation is perfectly correct from where I am standing now.

Hence me writing it. You know. XP*
