Here is the back story: When Detnuh first joined he was on a lot. So, I noticed it rather quickly when he wasn't on for over a week. No one in the guild really knew where he'd gone, so we all just kinda dropped it and hoped he'd come back.
One day I'm walking through the tunnel from Moonglade to Feralas (yay for having firbolg faction), and I stumble across Detnuh. Or, rather, Detnuh's corpse, sprawled out on the cold stone floor...clad only in our guild tabard.
So, as I told the guild, at least we know what happened to him.
He did come back, and told me later that he didn't expect so many people to see his body there. He must have gotten a lot of tells about it; evidently I wasn't the only one who found it oddly fitting that he disappeared while his char was dead.
