SCREENSHOT: Cruel and Unusual Punishment

I was questing today in Arathi Highlands, trying to finish off all of the Stromgarde quests, which should really be made into instance work because the drops rates there suck. Anyway, we'd finished off gathering badges, and were running to grab the first in a series of quests relating to some guy named Trelane. All of a sudden, on my minimap, there's a yellow dot. Now, I'm an Herbalist, which I'm sure most of you know means that I get easily distracted by yellow dots. This one happened to be Goldthorn, something I needed to be able to make a potion for a friend so she could craft some nice leather gloves. I think 'Cool. I'll just pop on over, pick up the Goldthorn, and be on my merry way.' The dot showed it right next to the road.

The dot lied:
