It's actually amazing that this blog has gone on as it has without a rogue hate rant. Though it's not really the class I hate. A good rogue in an instance who knows how to keep from pulling aggro off the tank is a very valuable (and unfortunately rare) commodity.
What I do hate are the Horde rogues with no spine. Like the level 70 last night who attempted to gank me while Rastel and I were fighting a Ravager. I instant healed and faerie fired him, and Rastel turned around and started attacking him. We get him down to less than half health while I frantically keep us both healed. So of course the big meanie sprints off and vanishes.
Of course his ego is smarting a little after that one, so he decided to come back and try it again. And again. Every single time we almost get him, he sprints off towards the Horde town.
If that wasn't enough, we also had a level 61 attempt to gank us five or six times. Every time he was almost dead, he'd blind us and run. I never thought it would be possible to carry that much blind powder. And why would you waste it by trying again and again and again to take two people down who keep kicking your ass?
The reason why I hate rogues is really this: the meanest, most juvenile little brats on the planet roll rogue and try their best to make everyone else miserable. Because yes, it IS rather annoying to attempt to quest while constantly dancing back and forth so nothing can sneak up on you.
Just in case you were wondering. -.-
